Bobcat's Community Focus: Supporting Parks and Recreation
This July, Bobcat Company is taking a meaningful step to give back to local parks and recreation spaces as part of the National Recreation and Park Association’s (NRPA) Park and Recreation Month. The company has launched a social media campaign inviting everyone to participate in promoting community well-being.
Participants can share a photo featuring Bobcat equipment in action using the hashtag #WorkWorthDoing and tag @BobcatCompany. For each shared photo from July 1-31, Bobcat will donate $10 to the NRPA, with a maximum contribution of $150,000 aimed at enhancing park environments across the country.
Why Parks Matter: Health and Connection
Laura Ness Owens, Bobcat's vice president of brand and marketing, shared, "Community is at the heart of everything we do." Park spaces serve as critical resources for families and individuals to engage in healthy physical activities while strengthening communal ties. It's this ethos that drives Bobcat's support for NRPA, fostering environments where community members can thrive.
The 2025 Park and Recreation Month honors the professionals who enhance lives through recreation programs. Kristine Stratton, NRPA's president and CEO, emphasizes the importance of these spaces in building resilience and preparing communities for various challenges.
