
Recognizing Excellence: OPPAA Scholarship Fund Awards for 2025
For over 25 years, the Outdoor Power Parts and Accessories Association (OPPAA) has continuously uplifted its members and their families through its scholarship program. With nearly 80 scholarships totaling $170,000 awarded in that time, the OPPAA Scholarship Fund stands as a testament to the commitment of the outdoor power equipment industry to foster education among its workforce.
Celebrating This Year’s Winners
This year, the OPPAA Scholarship Fund proudly announced three recipients of its 2025 awards, collectively amounting to $7,000. The fortunate students, Joseph Sumoski Jr. of Glennville, Georgia; Giuliana Hulesch of Sullivan, Ohio; and Jade Wang of Duluth, Georgia, were chosen from an impressive pool of applicants representing member companies like the Rotary Corporation and Stanley Black & Decker.

The scholarship program is designed to assist the educational endeavors of employees and their children working with OPPAA member companies. The Trustees, including industry leaders such as Mark Errick and Ed Nelson, express gratitude to all applicants for their dedication and achievements, further emphasizing the role of education in shaping the industry’s future.
